ABOUT

ETMAAL is a unique 32 hour non-stop event curated by producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and electronica enthusiast Colin Benders.

Within this time frame, the journey through TivoliVredenburg will take you to various rooms, corners, parks and squares in the building, where there will not be a single moment of silence. The festival starts on Friday 3 February 10PM and ends on Sunday morning 6AM.

Colin Benders said:

It was a pretty innocent idea when we started it a few years ago. I could not have dreamed that it has grown into what we are going to do now

The title ETMAAL already reveals a few things: the festival’s curated program is so diverse and extensive that it will take (more than) 24 hours. The journey starts with a powerful line-up of producers and DJs on Friday evening and night, to a casual Saturday morning and afternoon with more room for the niches of electronic music, and a leading role for modular synths. During the Saturday evening and night the pace goes up; expect steaming club nights in all halls, with high-profile live acts within the line-up that certainly don’t let the energy level drop. Names from the underground scenes are among the pioneers, and also unique new cross-pollinations make ETMAAL an event that is unique in its kind.
